Energy Performance Certification for Existing Dwellings
Energy Calculations Limited is able to produce Energy Performance Certificates on dwellings as a compulsory part of the Home Information Pack (HIP). An EPC is a document showing the current energy rating of a property as well as suggested ways in which the energy rating could be improved.
We are offering our service to Panel Managers, Pack Providers, Estate Agents and individuals. The Energy Performance Certificates are produced by Domestic Energy Assessors who are Members of the British Research Establishment (BRE) Accreditation Scheme.
EPC Methodology;
To carry out an energy calculation one of our registered inspectors will measure all the heat loss walls of the dwelling, determine the wall, roof and opening construction, and inspect the space heating and water heating systems to determine their efficiency. The information collected is then entered into the RD SAP software, which produces the Energy Efficiency Rating and Environmental Impact Rating of the dwelling.
